FitFusion PT Insight – how we do it
Tabata has gained a lot of popularity over the last years – it is another training style borrowed from competitive sports. Developed by Dr. Izumi Tabata for the Japanese Olympic team he found through his studies that short bursts of training with full effort and even shorter breaks in between (we are talking about 20 seconds of one exercise and 10 seconds of rest) have greater benefits and results in building strength and reshaping your body than a long and steady effort workout.
Due to its similar style to HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) it’s a great fit for us here at FitFusion PT and we like to combine bodyweight with low weight (equipment) exercises in the studio. Or if you need to catch your breath and cool down we switch over to our outdoor training deck.
