Stay Safe. Stay Active. Stay Healthy.

22.05.2020

What a difference a couple of months makes! It seems like years since I was working outdoors with clients, creating content for you guys here in the blog, and just getting on with normal life. But now, as we all adjust to a strange new normal, I wanted to pop back and let you know what’s happening with FitFusion PT and hopefully inspire you to keep moving at home. I hope that you are all safe, and healthy and that your families are well. It feels scary right now and it’s tempting to just throw the healthy eating and exercise out of the window. But now, more than ever, we need to take care of ourselves and each other. Here are some of my top tips for staying healthy during lockdown and an exciting update about our personal training services.

Any Movement Matters

Whether you’re dancing around the living room, pounding the pavement, or doing HIIT on your patio, it’s so important to keep making movement part of your day. Exercise not only keeps us healthy physically, but it is vital for our mental health. It’s really easy to feel overwhelmed by what’s happening around the world, and taking time for self-care is vital. Whether you’re a fitness fanatic or you’re using extra downtime to find out what your capable of, don’t forget to move. It makes such a big difference.

FitFusion PT is Going Virtual

That’s right, it’s taken some behind the scenes planning and logistics but you can now access our services virtually. We will be coming at you online, into your living room, garden, bedroom or balcony to cheer you on and motivate you to push yourself to be the best that you can be. We provide training across Facetime or Skype, and we are just so excited to get back to what we do best. We’d love to see our clients in person right now, but we understand that it’s vital that we all do everything we can to protect the NHS and people across the country. That’s why we’ve decided to use technology to continue offering our fun, friendly, and practical personal training to anyone who needs it. The great news is that this means we can offer training wherever you are in the country or around the world!

Enjoy any Outside Space

One of the positives of the last few months has been some glorious sunshine, and making sure you get enough vitamin D is another way to boost your mental and physical health. Whether that’s getting into your garden, onto your balcony, or ensuring you (safely) take an hour of outdoor exercise every day, get outside and into the fresh air. Stretch those muscles, enjoy the birds singing, and take a moment to breathe deep. It really can help you to blow out the cobwebs and find your centre.

I’m sending all my love and best wishes to you all right now. Look after yourselves and each other. Stay safe. Save active. Stay healthy. Together, we’ve got this. You’re amazing.
